For the third consecutive year Terriann Procida is Chairing the Samaritan fundraising gala. This year the theme is “Set Sail: Samaritan Celebration of Life Gala” and it will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at The Westin Mount Laurel. Samaritan has provided hospice care for more than 55,000 families across southern New Jersey and all proceeds from the Gala will provide direct care for families in the community who turn to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice during their time of need. Samaritan has never turned any patient or family away, regardless of their ability to pay. Their dedicated team of doctors, nurses, home health aides, pastoral team, volunteers and grief counselors stay with the families every step of the way.
More than 120 sponsors, advertisers and donors, and over 300 participants will join in the celebration for this year’s gala. This fun-filled “cruise” will include a silent auction and the popular Delightful Dining Raffle which is dinner out every month for a year (12 – $200 gift certificates for area restaurants) for just $5 per chance!
