On Friday morning, the Innovative team proudly supported our client, Urban Affairs Coalition, at the 48th Anniversary Breakfast at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Over 800 guests came together to support the mission of the UAC – to unite urban communities to improve the quality of life, build wealth and solve emerging issues in the region.
The team enjoyed hearing Kenneth Frazier’s story. Frazier was presented with the “Doer” Award, inspired by Governor Ed Rendell, which is reserved for individuals who “make things happen” and have created opportunities for others within the community. Frazier, Chairman, CEO & President of Merck & Co., Inc., is celebrated for his impressive and ever-evolving career at Merck where he has served since 1992. Frazier also sits on the boards of PhRMA, Weill Cornell Medicine, Exxon Mobil Corporation and Cornerstone Christian Academy in Philadelphia, PA and is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, The Business Council, the Council of American Law Institute and the American Bar Association. Congratulations to Kenneth Frazier and all of Friday’s UAC award recipients!
