September 12th-September 15th Innovative Benefit Planning team members Terriann Procida, Mark Sulpizio, Scott Agostini, Elizabeth Hann, Caitlin Boland, Ryan Kastner and Dan Foley headed to Chicago, Illinois for the United Benefit Advisors Semiannual Conference. The conference provided many informative “Boot Camp” session on compliance, surveys, marketing and Employee Navigator Training that will help us better aid our clients. Innovative was also able to sit in on insightful presentations about the importance of mindset change, addressing employee fiscal and physical health and overcoming obstacles.
The Innovative Benefit Planning team had the opportunity to view three intensive compliance sessions with experts of the Affordable Care Act. These presenters included Danielle Capilla (UBA Compliance Officer), Josie Martinez (Compliance Officer of EBS Capstone), and Janet Trautwein (President of NAHU). As the ACA regulations evolve, UBA and Innovative remain committed to keeping up with the regulations and future decisions that come with them.
