On Tuesday, September 16th, Innovative’s Matthew Bernstein, Qualified Plan Consultant, and Mark Sulpizio, Managing Partner were asked to speak at MID Jersey Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly NPEC (Non-Profit Executive Council) meeting in Hamilton New Jersey. The presentation focused on the impact of the Department of Labor’s 408(b)(2) qualified plan fee disclosure regulations on plan sponsors and the recommended actions for compliance with the new rules. Topics discussed included fee benchmarking, RFP management and fee negotiation along with a general overview of the current regulatory environment.
