We are happy to announce the newest addition to our team, Erica Brown. Erica will be taking over the role of Worksite Wellness Consultant and will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of worksite wellness programs for Innovative’s clients.
Erica Brown is a seasoned Nutritionist and Wellness Coach with over 10 years of experience in the health and wellness field. She holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Wellness from Benedictine University and a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Exercise Science from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining Innovative, Erica owned and operated her own Nutrition and Wellness private practice where she worked individually with a variety of clients to help them reach goals related to weight management, general health and wellness, and sports nutrition. She currently teaches Nutrition as an Adjunct Professor at Mercer County Community College and Rowan College at Burlington County. Her previous work experience also includes 8 years as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach. Erica has worked with professional and collegiate athletes at Arizona State University, the University of Florida, and EXOS athletic training center. Her medical background includes work at a Sports Medicine practice as a Medical Assistant and Nutrition and Exercise Specialist.
In addition to her impressive professional experience, Erica is actively involved in the community. She served on the Chronic Disease Prevention Advisory Board for the Hamilton YMCA to assist with the development of community health prevention programs and each year she holds fundraising events with her students to support Feeding America, a national supporter of local food banks and soup kitchens.
