On October 24, 2013, Ryan Kastner was honored to speak to an audience of 45 about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) at a workshop conducted by Career Transition Partnership (CTP) at Temple Emanuel in Cherry Hill. Ryan walked attendees through a timeline of provisions within PPACA, focusing on the impact the regulations have on both employers and individuals. Of special interest to this group was the Health Insurance Marketplace. Ryan explained how the Marketplace should work, from how to access the plans available, to signing up for a plan, as well as offering information on the tax credits and subsidies that are available through the Exchange.
Career Transition Workshop is a partnership of volunteers from interfaith organizations, businesses and the community, serving individuals and families in a job career transition by providing resources needed to find gainful employment, maintain dignity and a positive spirit. CTP has trained hundreds of job seekers and has incorporated in the State of New Jersey, all in an effort to better equip job seekers with the tools they will need to be successful in finding employment.
