Terriann Procida has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, providing employee benefit services to employers nationally. As CEO, Terriann is the driving force behind Innovative’s commitment of always “Putting People First”. Under her leadership Innovative has earned a reputation for bringing creative strategies to the marketplace and positioning our clients as employers of choice.

Her experience working with diverse businesses has helped Terriann to identify key challenges that employers face. As a founding partner of a privately held organization, Terriann brings a valued perspective when assisting her clients in their benefit decisions.

In her spare time, Terriann immerses herself in many professional and volunteer activities. Terriann has serviced on many non-profit Boards and was appointed Chairwoman of United Benefit Advisors Board of Directors .

Mark Sulpizio

Founder

As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Founding Partner of Innovative Benefit Planning, LLC, Mark functions as the Practice Lead for the firm’s Qualified Plan Practice, Executive Benefits, and Innovative Investment Fiduciaries, LLC.

Mark began his 30+ years of financial planning and benefit consulting upon graduating from Pennsylvania State University. Thereafter he earned his Master of Science in Taxation from Philadelphia University.

Mark is an experienced presenter on the topics of Retirement Planning, Fiduciary Responsibility and Obligations. He focuses his efforts on the needs of business owners and executives, assisting with the development and coordination of their business, tax, and financial plans.

Mark has been a long-time member of both the Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club and Vistage International and has volunteered for many years in youth sports organizations in the community. Mark has transitioned from a member of the Board of Governors of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties to a member of the Finance Committee for The YMCA of Philadelphia.

Eileen Green, SHRM-SCP

Chief Operating Officer

As COO, this key position is integral to ensuring that Innovative has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures to provide operational excellence across our company and for our clients. This role includes collaborating with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objective of our organization.

Prior to accepting this position, Eileen spent over 22 years for a Philadelphia based employee benefits firm in various compliance and management roles, including seven years as Executive Vice President and Director, Human Capital Division and 12 years as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. During this time, she gained valuable experience participating in the implementation of strategic directives and skillfully implementing operations management in order to optimize the achievement of client goals.

John Romaska

Vice President, Benefits Consulting

As Director of Benefits Consulting, John is responsible for strengthening and maintaining Innovative’s relationships with its’ current clients and ensuring the continued growth and profitability of their employee benefits practice.
John graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Finance. Prior to accepting this position, he served as Benefits Manager for the largest publicly held water utility company, American Water Works, based out of Voorhees, NJ. Preceding his time at American Water, John spent over 10 years in a benefits consulting practice; eventually selling his interest in 2013. During this time, John gained extensive experience partnering with Human Resources and C-level executives of mid to large size corporations to understand their benefit challenges and provide specific solutions based upon discovered needs.

John brings over 15 years experience and a proven track record of success in the employee benefits area. His wealth of knowledge and expertise is evident in meeting our departmental goals and more importantly, our clients’ strategic objectives.

John is expertly and equally versed in fully insured, self-funded and level funded financial arrangements.

Tamalyn Cee Wandler

Director of Compliance

As the Director of Compliance, Tamalyn plays a crucial role in assisting clients with their compliance auditing needs. She educates clients on various federal and state regulations, assesses areas of weakness, determines potential liabilities, and provides tools to help clients avoid common pitfalls. Her duties also include developing, overseeing, and evaluating control systems, researching regulatory and legislative changes, filing wrap SPDs for clients, and performing non-discrimination testing for self-funded clients.

Tamalyn brings extensive experience in the benefits compliance industry to Innovative. Prior to joining Innovative, she worked at Willis Tower Watson in the Health & Benefits Compliance practice. Tamalyn holds two bachelor’s degrees from Loyola University in Chicago, a Doctorate of Law from DePaul University College of Law, and a Masters of Law in Employee Benefits from The John Marshall Law School. She resides in Pitman, NJ, with her spouse, Sarah.

Elizabeth Ferroni

Executive Account Manager

As Executive Account Manager, Elizabeth is responsible for managing relationships, processes and strategies with our clients and ensuring the continued growth, retention and profitability of their employee benefits program. In addition, Elizabeth assists in client development through the efficient management of back office operations, leads account management, and works with our internal team to develop new products and services that can improve our client’s services.

An invaluable resource to our clients and member of the Innovative team, Elizabeth brings over fifteen years of experience in the benefits administration field. She received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University and earned the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation.

Erica Polaneczky, MSN, APRN, ANP-C

Nurse Advocate

As part of our Workplace Wellness team, Erica helps Innovative build, plan, coordinate, and deliver health promotion activities tailored specifically for each client’s company culture and member population.  She works with our internal team and our clients to improve health and wellness opportunities and outcomes while increasing the accessibility of care and reducing costs. Erica also develops and presents seminars on health and wellness to our clients, and coach and counsel individual client-members to help them achieve optimal health. Erica’s healthcare expertise can help clients navigate the healthcare system, including interpreting physician instructions and medication compliance.

Prior to accepting this position, Erica spent more than 15 years providing pre-admission testing at Hahnemann University Hospital, as well as delivering medical education and ensuring patient safety prior to surgery.  She has also worked as a nurse practitioner and staff nurse with several hospitals and medical practices and is on the clinical adjunct faculty at Drexel University College of Medicine. Erica received her B.S. in Nursing from DeSales University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University.

Lauren Urbanski

Executive Account Manager

As an Executive Account Manager, Lauren assists our clients with their employee benefits strategy and profitability and leads the day-to-day projects of account managers and others in the employee benefits practice to provide a first-class level of client satisfaction and account competency.  She brings our clients an esteemed level of problem-solving, renewal plan design, and carrier/vendor accountability.

Prior to joining Innovative, Lauren worked as a Benefits Consultant for a Philadelphia-based insurance broker where she worked directly with client CEOs/CFOs and HR Managers to effectively put multi-year employee benefits strategies in place. During this time, she gained valuable experience in carrier negotiations, alternative funding options, benchmarking, and more.  Lauren received her B.A. in Education from Rider University, holds a Life and Health License, Certified Self-Funding Professional Account Management Certification through NAHU (working towards CEBS Designation), and a Medical Biller and Coder Certificate.
