Innovative Promotes John Romaska to Vice President of Consulting

Innovative Benefit Planning is excited to announce John Romaska has been promoted to Vice President of Consulting. John previously served as our Director of Benefits Consulting, where his responsibilities included strengthening Innovative’s relationships with current clients and overall advancement of the employee benefits practice. In his new role, John is responsible for leading client teams to promote organizational growth and portfolio retention. He will set overall direction and develop teams that drive high-quality, relevant, and innovative client solutions, services, processes, and analytical support. John will also oversee strategic planning and consulting advice for clients Since joining Innovative over five years ago, John has proven to be a committed and integral part of the team. During his time here, he has improved client deliverables by training our account team, as well as creating educational material for our clients and prospective clients on various topics such as funding arrangements and strategic cost containment programs to help reduce their overall healthcare spend.  John has also been instrumental in collaborating with our marketing and wellness departments to develop programs that help our clients promote their employees’ health and wellbeing. “John’s deep experience in the benefits consulting industry has made him a valuable resource for our clients and team,” said Terriann Procida, CEO. “His new role as Vice President of Consulting allows him to continue leveraging his expertise to help our customers meet their benefits challenges.” With more than 18 years’ experience, John has had a presence in the employee benefits industry for some time.  Before joining Innovative, he was the Benefits Manager for American Water Works, the country’s largest publicly-held water utility company. Prior to that, John spent more than 10 years in a benefits consulting practice, where he worked with HR and C-level executives at mid- to large-size corporations. John is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Finance. Congratulations John! We look forward to watching you push Innovative to the next level.
